Medicaid Reimbursement
Our Doula training programs meet the Medicaid requirements for 20+ states and Carrot Fertility, a leading corporate benefits program.
Medicaid is a federal–state health program, but each state runs it differently. More states are adding doula services under Medicaid and expanding access to doula care for families who previously couldn't afford it. Please note that most states require Birth Doula training to qualify for Medicaid reimbursement, even to provide Postpartum support.

Carrot Fertility
Carrot is a global fertility and family-building platform that partners with employers, health plans, and healthcare systems to provide benefits for individuals and families. Their services support people across the reproductive journey—from fertility and pregnancy through postpartum and parenting. Many employees receive financial coverage for doula support through their employer's Carrot benefit.
Carrot recognizes certifications from approved organizations, and Newmom.me Academy certificates are accepted within their certification pathway when doulas apply.
